Fatal Ending - Front Coverby ~chibi-j

This picture, I feel to date is the best LoK fanart I have ever produced. It came about during the time when I was becoming far more comfortable with action poses, and working with Painter. It is in fact the front cover for my short comic Fatal Ending which depicts my take on the events that would have ended SR1, if the game had taken that turn. Hence why Kain and Raziel are fighting each other. I love the imagery of them locked in combat, each holding the other`s incarnation of the Soul Reaver just at bay...

The style for the line work of this peice was heavily influenced by MARVEL artist Salvador Larocca, who`s work and style I really admire. This linework was never inked, being drawn and shaded intierly in pencil.
